He’s excited by clients who are ready to take the next steps with their business, and operates on a teammate level to truly know and champion their business to investors and board members. He started SeriesUp after seeing a need for fractional CFOs who have real-world experience in the startup space. Offline, you can find Matt spending time outside with his three children, cruising the Madison lakes, or cheering on his alma mater at a Badger game.

After a decade in public accounting, Braden transitioned into the startup world and never looked back. Braden thrives in complex, rapidly-evolving businesses, where innovation, agility, and decisive execution are essential. Over the past several years, Braden has partnered closely with founders and leadership teams to navigate macroeconomic uncertainty, build from the ground up, and respond quickly to shifting market demands. Braden embeds herself within an organization and helps founders make confident decisions with clear, data-driven insights. In her personal life, Braden loves being a mom to two little kids and keeping up with their busy schedules. Beyond her family time, Braden enjoys reading, puzzles, hosting friends and family and being outside whenever possible.

Caitlyn uses her past experience in culture building and project management to not only help our clients with any operational needs that may arise, but also in building SeriesUp’s company structure and culture. She's worked in tech startups throughout her career, so she's worn lots of hats and understands the unique challenges that fast-growing businesses deal with. She specializes in operations and employee experience, and most recently she was the Director of Operations for a global team. Outside of work, you can find her reading the newest bestseller, exploring Madison by stroller with her husband and son, or whipping up baked goods to go with her (many) cups of coffee.

Leon is an experienced finance and operational accounting leader with over 15 years of experience across diverse industries. He specializes in supporting start-ups and growth-stage companies, bringing a strategic approach to scaling operations and optimizing financial processes. He has deep expertise in corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy. In prior roles as Controller and VP of Finance, Leon led teams through high-growth phases, improved financial clarity, and implemented systems to support sustainable growth. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and two kids, attending live concerts, and staying active.
